Sözcükistan — Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how the Sözcükistan mobile application (the "App") collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

The App is developed by independent developer Erkan Sarıyıldız. Questions: destek@sozcukistan.com

2. What data we collect

The App does not require account registration. We do not ask for your name, email, or phone number. We collect:

• Game progress (on your device): Player nickname (chosen by you), completed levels, scores, hint/shuffle inventory. Stored locally on your device only (AsyncStorage); not sent to our servers.
• Leaderboard (optional): If you submit your score to the leaderboard, we store your nickname, your score, and a randomly generated device-scoped player identifier (playerId — a pseudonymous identifier that does not identify you personally; used to prevent duplicate entries and to handle nickname changes) on our servers.
• Advertising identifier: Google AdMob may use your device's advertising ID (Android Advertising ID / iOS IDFA) to personalize ads. You can reset this ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
• Purchase records: In-app purchases (gem packs, Ad-Free Edition, etc.) are processed by RevenueCat and the Apple/Google payment systems. We never see or store your card details — only an anonymous entitlement state.
• Notification token (optional): If you grant notification permission, your device push token is stored locally.

3. Third-party services

The App uses the following third-party services. You are subject to each provider's own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob — interstitial and rewarded ads (publisher ID: pub-2625591418833350) — policies.google.com/privacy
• RevenueCat — in-app purchase management — revenuecat.com/privacy
• Apple App Store / Google Play Billing — real payment processing
• Expo / React Native — application framework

4. Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13. If you believe your child has provided data to us, please contact us at the email above and we will delete such data.

5. Data retention and deletion

Game data on your device is deleted when you uninstall the App. To delete your nickname and scores from the leaderboard, write to destek@sozcukistan.com; we will process your request within 30 days.

6. Your rights (KVKK / GDPR)

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): you have the right to access, correct, delete, and object to the processing of your data. To exercise these rights, contact destek@sozcukistan.com.

7. Ad preferences

To opt out of personalized ads, use your device settings: Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization". iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → turn off "Personalized Ads". You can also remove all ads permanently by purchasing the in-app Ad-Free Edition.

8. Changes

If we make changes to this policy, we will update the effective date. We will announce material changes inside the app.
